The ‘My Deals’ page is where you will spend most of your time on 3Commas. It’s where you can see all active deals that your bots have opened, as well as their progress, how many safety orders they have places, any errors, different actions you can take on those deals, etc..
1 - Overall Stats
This is probably the most useful panel of information in 3Commas. This shows your profits today, your total profits, the amount reinvested, number of active deals, funds locked in deals, and your 'Unrealized Profit and Loss' (uPNL). uPNL is essentially how much money you would lose if you closed all of your current deals at market price. Don't be afraid to see this in the red— it almost always will be.
2 - Completed Deals Profit
Shows the profit amount in various different currencies— USD, USDT, BTC, etc.
3 - Balances
Another very useful pane. This one shows the amount of funds currently reserved in limit orders (safety orders) waiting to be used as well as the amount of available USD remaining in your account. This is helpful to see when you are starting to get low on funds.
It’s important to understand the difference between bots and deals. The bots are simply a set of parameters that open deals. If you turn off a bot, then that bot will no longer be able to open new deals. However, currently open deals will remain active until you either cancel them or they reach their ‘Take Profit’ percentage. This becomes very important when it comes to editing bots and deals.
If you edit a bot, it will affect all future deals, but not currently open deals.
If you edit a deal, it will affect the current deal, but not future deals.
Let’s say for example that you are watching your AVAX/USD bot and it’s really looking strong. You decide to increase the ‘Take Profit’ percentage from 1.5% to 2%. So you head over to your deals, click ‘Edit’ and update the ‘Take Profit’ percentage to 2%. AVAX goes on to reach your ‘Take Profit’ percentage and you collect your profits. The bot will now open a new deal with ‘Take Profit’ set to your original 1.5%. This is because you edited your current deal and not the bot.
Here’s a quick overview of each of the bot actions you can take:
Cancel
This will stop your stop the current deal— it will remove any open trades it may have and simply leave whatever assets your bot had accumulated in your exchange.
Close at market price
This will simply sell any crypto (or buy back crypto if shorting) your bot had accumulated at the current market price, stop your current deal, and cancel any unfulfilled orders.
Reverse bot
Clicking this will turn your bot from a long bot into a short bot, or your short bot into a long bot. It will create a bot with the same settings (be sure to check and make sure before starting) but switch it’s direction. For more info on shorting, checkout the bear market strategies under ‘Advanced Strategies’ in this course.
Edit
Clicking this will allow you to edit a number of settings for the current active deal. Keep in mind that editing settings here will not affect any future deals, only the current deal.
‘$ Add Funds’
This button can help you get out of a deep deal by adding additional funds when your bots are in the red. You can simply purchase more at the current market price or set a limit order at a specific price. This will reduce the gain needed to reach your ‘Take Profit’ price.
SmartTrade Convert
This converts your current bot deal into a SmartTrade and gives allows you to utilize all of the capabilities of 3Commas SmartTrade platform.
Refresh
This refreshes the current deal and updates with accurate market pricing. You can also refresh the page to refresh all deals.
